Beyond just the absence of disease, striving for holistic wellness is an approach to life, with an ultimate goal to thrive physically, emotionally and spiritually.

The 8 pillars of holistic wellness
The wellbeing of the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual are integrated and inseparable. It’s only when the eight pillars of wellness are in homeostasis can one live a balanced life that thrives.

1. Physical Wellness
Your body is your vehicle in this life. Treat it well with proper nutrition and adequate levels of exercise. While you might be a dedicated gym-goer who enjoys working up a sweat and pushing your limits on a daily basis, make sure you do it right. Correct posture and form are everything. There might be a lot of gym addicts who are dedicated to training, but not everyone does it mindfully. Stay conscious, engage the mind and your body, and focus on the muscle groups being trained during each set. 2. Mental Wellness

6. Work Wellness

7. Financial Wellness
You don’t have to be wealthy to be happy. Finding a sense of security by having a steady income at the end of each month can give you stability and comfort, putting your mind at ease. Society constantly wants us to work more and earn more, but sometimes taking a step back and giving yourself that much needed “me” time is vital in creating wellbeing within your life. Don’t forget to strive for work-life balance.

8. Environmental Wellness
It’s been proven that outdoor immersion and connecting with nature helps lower stress and anxiety. Dealing with stress is an unavoidable part of our modern, hectic and fast-paced lifestyle.
