Siobhan Dumigan

Siobhan grew up a Dancer and while completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, entered the Fitness and Wellness Industry through Personal Training. Falling in love with helping people reach their full potential and healing through movement, she began her journey in Pilates and Yoga. Siobhan has been learning and sharing her knowledge in this field for over 7 years. Siobhan truly believes in self-healing through movement and creatively; she will help you tap into the inner wisdom of your body to heal yourself.
Classes & private trainings
Yin Yoga
Yin represents all that is feminine, dark, passive, receptive and reflective. Movements are slow paced with long holds to reach areas rich in connective tissues and to increase circulation in joints. This is a journey inwards and more meditative practice to regulate the body's flow of energy.

Guided Movement and Journaling
Group class, small group or private session.
Free yourself of unnecessary suffering through guided movement and journaling. Allow yourself to flow through movement and words. We all have all the answers we are looking for. Seek inwards. Allow the time and space for your inner voice to speak and to be heard. Hear and connect with your truth.
Pen, colour pencils and journals will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes to move in. This practice may be accompanied by live musicians.

Contemporary Dance & Core
Ground the body through core activation, as we must ground in order to grow. Then learn to flow through contemporary dance movement. This session is a beautiful way to improve your coordination, balance and spatial awareness, as well as increase your mental functioning and general well-being. No dance experience is needed.

Movement Basics
A great starting point for new practitioners to Movement Culture, this foundation class focuses on bodyweight strength, mobility, coordination, fluidity of movement. These sessions combine theory with movement practice and partner movement drills. Movement Basics promotes somatic awareness and encourages more graceful, powerful, balanced, efficient, creative and enjoyable movement!

Movement Therapy
Movement Therapy is a gentle slow-paced movement practice for all levels. Focusing on functional mobility and relaxed coordination the practice facilitates the development of body awareness. Movements performed both lying down and standing, this session is especially recommended for those with with injuries or chronic tension in the body and mind.

Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a great way to stretch and strengthen the body, to keep it healthy and injury free. Mat Pilates exercises are extremely functional and focus on strengthening the core or "powerhouse", as Joseph Pilates called it. Joseph Pilates developed this exercise methodology in the early 1900s, borrowing from disciplines such as dance, yoga and classic calisthenics. The benefit of Mat Pilates is that it can be done anywhere and you can take your favourite exercises with you wherever you go. For those who suffer from back pain, Mat Pilates techniques are know to both prevent and reduce these back issues.

Dance Paint — The Art of Surrender
Private session or with a partner. 60 minutes.
Surrender into your creative self, surrender into the moment and allow your higher self to guide you through this creative journey. No experience in dance or paint is needed, and you are encouraged to explore the unknown path and connect to your inner creator through dance painting.
A large canvas and your selected colours of paint await you in a candlelit room. Siobhan will help ground you and guide you through a meditation and some suggested movements. This section will take about 10 minutes before she will allows your higher self to take over. Siobhan will stay in the room to offer any assistance or guidance if required. You will end with a beautiful piece of artwork that can be stretched and gifted to yourself or your family and friends. This session can be accompanied by live musicians. Canvas, paint, leotard / briefs, flip flops and showers will be provided.
